Orphans of the Storm® Dogs Hoping 2019 Is Their Year to Find a Home

2018 was a happy year for the 1,075 dogs and 823 cats who were adopted and went to their furever homes! There are still plenty of dogs at Orphans of the Storm® who are waiting for their new families to find them, and some have been waiting longer than others. At the beginning of each year, I always like to make a special note of the long-timers who could use an extra boost in attention to help make this year the year they finally get to go home. The dogs listed below have been at Orphans of the Storm® for one year or longer. Please consider taking them out and spending some time with them on your next visit to the shelter!

  • Aleck (Alec) the 5-year-old Pointer mix
  • Barney the 6-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix
